Facebook has made so many changes lately. Trying to add your app to a fan page with link is now a major pain in the you know what. Some may call this “add to fanpage with tab”.
You use to be able to simply add a link (or tab) to your Facebook fanpage with the “Add to my page” link. What the hell are they thinking removing it? Myself, I am getting sick and tired of trying to keep up with their changes. I guess that is the way it is when you are young…
Anyway, here is how to add that newly created app to your fanpage:
1) Go to Facebook and get your “APP ID” and the “Canvas Page” URL
2) Using the URL below, replace my APP ID and page URL with yours:
In other words: https://www.
3) Once you choose the page, be sure to click the button at bottom “Add Page Tab”.
You will now see the link to the app on your fanage. If you would link for your app to be the first thing people see when landing on the page, edit your page and look for the “Default Landing Tab” drop down menu. Choose your app name and save changes.
